He also militated for the respect of the gypsy pilgrimage of the Saintes Maries de la Mer.<br \/>\"Faith, hope and charity\" is the credo of the Saintois that is symbolized in the cross of Camargue.<br \/>This famous cross was inaugurated in 1926. It is currently located at the Pont de Mort, in Saintes Maries de la Mer. For the anecdote, the current Cross of Camargue is a replica, the original having been
